The Moving Wall  –  August 17th - 21st, 2017

Andersson Track
Wareham Middle School
4 Viking Drive, Wareham, MA 02571

The Moving Wall™ is the half-size replica of the Washington, DC Vietnam Veterans Memorial. John Devitt, a Vietnam veteran from California, possessed the vision and dedication to his fellow Vietnam veterans that made this memorial a reality. When Devitt attended the Opening Ceremonies of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington in 1982, he vowed to bring the experience he had to those not able to go to Washington. Together with Norris Shears, Gerry Haver, and other Vietnam veteran volunteers, he built The Moving Wall. We are grateful.
